ADELINE REST HOUSE

Introduction
With a minimal of RM5000 as an initial investment, Adeline single handedly accomplished her dream and be the proud owner of RUMAH REHAT ADELINE within four years. She encountered many obstacles along the way. However, with her strong will power and determination, coupled with passion for cooking and love for nature, she achieve her life-time goal – A resort in the highland with exotic food.

Concept and House Facilities and Amenities
BACK TO NATURE – A slogan for Rumah Rehat Adeline. The resort occupies 5 acres of land with stay in chalets and huts and full resort facilities. The concept of chalets is adapted from Orang Asli houses/huts. Huts are specially built by the Orang Asli whereby only attap and bamboo are used.

The chalets cater for backpackers, couples, families and even corporate groups are named with local fruit identities:- Manggis, Rambutan, Durian, Nenas etc. The sleeping areas are dormitory styles with basic amenities of light, fan and foam mattress. Fresh mattress and pillow case and blankets are provided for each arrival of guests.

The resort have common toilets and bath areas with modern flush system surrounding all chalets. The resort can accommodated to the maximum capacity of 110 pax at any one time.

Entertainment and Recreation
The resort provides a specially built rock-spa for fun and water massage for tired body – namely the natural spa. A game hall for table tennis, carom game, dart, blow pipe demonstration, and open area for badminton. Hammocks are tied around trees for the guests pleasure. Campsite for camp lovers and ample space for campfire, gathering and games.

A special allocated space with net enclosure for paintball activities. The resort have planted series of fruit trees and vegetable plants for environmental awareness – Rubber trees, Durian trees, Rambutan trees, Langsat trees, banana trees, Jambu trees etc. – all and all are of organic in nature.

Outdoor Activities
For outdoors lovers, the resort have trained and experienced guides for:-
- On Water: White Water Rafting, wet abseiling, river boarding, body rafting and picnic to waterfall.
- On Land: Jungle Trekking, Rafflasia Hunt, Raja Brooke Butterfly Colony and night walk.
- To Caves: Caving to Gua Kondo and Tempurung.

Food and Dining
The dining area of the resort can accommodate to 100 guest at any one time.

Adeline – The master of the cook. She creates a series of recipes that the guests will never forget. Food ranging from exotic seafood, hot and spicy petai, crispy river caught from upstream, mouth watering fried chicken, barbeque of chicken wing, sausages, satay, fish ball and etc.

A specially done bamboo soup – soup into bamboo and burnt. Her creativity never ends with supper menu.
